Hi, I'm Fin (RealFin online). I run a home server that does far more than it probably should.

It started as a place to keep movies and grew into a full homelab: a media server, network-wide ad blocking with my own DNS resolver, Home Assistant with Zigbee sensors, a password manager, a local AI chatbot, and game servers for my friends (Valheim and a few Minecraft modpacks).

Everything on this site comes from that machine. When I write that something broke, it broke on my server, and the fix is the one I actually used. I don't publish anything that would make my own network easier to attack: no IP addresses, no hostnames, no screenshots of admin panels. You'll get the ideas and the configs, not a map of my house.

I'm also building a Roblox game with AI as a coding partner, and I'm writing that up as I go: what the AI is good at, where it confidently gets things wrong, and how I keep a game secure against exploiters.
